Raven Man
Raven is Salmon Woman’s mate, Raven is transformed with the raven’s body of the bird, Raven saved his people from starvation by saving Salmon Woman by pulling her out from the Salish Sea. She saved his people by offering her children the salmon for food.  There is a piece of Salmon Woman as a human being. This piece of Raven he is transformed into the raven bird form.  Transformation is common among Northwest Coast tribes in their stories.  I hope you enjoy this piece. The hallow eyes are a signature of the artist since Yvonne is blind.
