Salmon swimming across the ocean waves on a hot summer day. The traditional one has Northwest design within it’s body. The other sockeye is an surreal design. The two styles contrast one another. During the months of July and August, the sockeye runs travel through the Salish Sea It is the richest and more valuable of all the salmon species for it’s fish oil content.
