It’s a Northwest Coast Salish design Raven inspired by the tribes of the north. Yvonne’s grandfather Andrew Thomas is from the Cowinchen tribe from Vancouver Island. They have Northwest Coast designs in their art and clothing.  Raven loves to imitate the birds of the forest. He is a trickster who loves shiny objects like the crow.
